Christians for Ron Paul

I have followed Ron Paul off and on for nearly twenty years and have found him to be both principled and consistent. The kinds of things he's saying now that he's in the limelight, he was saying years ago when he was in the shadows and had nothing to gain from doing so.

What commends Dr. Paul most strongly to me is his outstanding Christian character. He possesses integrity and is honest (and respectful) enough to express his true opinion on a subject, not what he thinks someone else wants to hear.

Proverbs 26:17 says, "Like one who grabs a dog by the ears is a stranger who meddles in a quarrel not his own." By consistently opposing unconstitutional foreign adventurism, Dr. Paul has lived out this biblical truth as well as Romans 12:18 ("If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone").

Ron Paul is not only pro-life, he has actually introduced substantive legislation to,remove abortion from the jurisdiction of the federal courts. If every one of his bills on this issue had been passed and signed into law, Roe v. Wade would be history and the unborn would have the legal protection they deserve.

Ron Paul also cares about the poor and downtrodden. His Tax Free Tips Act of 2007 (H.R. 3664) would exempt tips from federal income and FICA taxes, helping millions of working Americans who live at the bottom of the income scale.

I appeal to all Christians to heed the words of Jesus Himself: "Stop judging by mere appearances, and make a right judgment" (John 7:24). Anyone can give a nice speech. Look for walk to match the talk. You will one day have to answer to God for the stewardship you have exercised in this life within the political sphere. Let it be revealed that you were wise and discerning, not foolish and shallow.

Yours in Christ,

John Windsor

As a Christian pastor of a Bible church, I endorse Ron Paul and believe he is the only candidate running for president who promotes a godly, freedom-based message of adhering to our Founder's ideas embodied in the Constitution of the United States. It's time to get off the fence and wake up to the reality that none of the "top-tier" candidates are Christian, Constitutional, or even have integrity. Dr. Ron Paul does, and has a testimony of salvation in the Lord Jesus Christ. Don't ignore the candidate the Lord is offering you.

I am a US citizen working overseas (Taiwan) and actively participating in ministry at a local church here. As a firm believer in the philosophical and theological foundations of the Republic laid out in the Constitution, the Declaration of Independence, etc., I sincerely believe that Dr. Paul is the only candidate that obeys his oath to uphold the Constitution. Without mentioning the various doom scenarios (fear) that tend to drive us to choose candidates that offer government solutions, I believe Ron Paul will dramatically reduce Federal spending, get America's nose out of other nations' business, thereby lower or eliminate individual income taxes, and ultimately usher in times of economic prosperity not seen in this country for decades. As a result, I expect to see a boom in charitable donations and services, and a lifting up of the nation as a whole. Thus, I endorse Dr. Paul as the best and most capable candidate for head of the executive branch.

I heartily AMEN many of the concerns and comments here and am excited that fellow believers are carrying a torch for liberty and for Cong. Ron Paul. I urge all to pray every day for the nomination and election of Cong. Paul - he may be the last best hope for American liberty. When the government runs off the Constitutional rails - guess who will be one of the first detained and persecuted?
Christians of course.

The spiritual battle within is the only true game that should be played on this earth. The war between each other is a false credence created from misguided and confused intentions. Our only true objective is self understanding, and the only true relationship is with our creator. The relationship of the government to the governed is perverted and distorted. It is unnecessary and can only intrude upon the holy heart of man.
Local organization and awareness should be the only true form of politics.
I endorse Ron Paul because it would help me on my spiritual path. It would allow me to bring the focus off my exterior world and onto my inner world.

I am the drummer and spokesman of the Christian extreme heavy metal band Feast Eternal. We will support and vote for Ron Paul even if it is a write in vote. He is the only true Conservative running for President in our opinion. We are tired of voting for who the Republicans give us and we will never again vote for the lesser of two evils. Come off the Left-Right line and vote for Ron Paul....the best man for leading our country.

If you always vote for the "Lesser of Two Evils"......THAT IS ALL WE WILL EVER HAVE!

‘All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing’

As a Christian Constitutionalist, I want to urge all American voters, especially others like myself who identify with the Christian Right, to support and vote for Ron Paul for president in 2008. We need to elect a man who believes in Christian principles, a man of character who has proven his ability to govern rightly, a man who will put our country's interests above his own self-interests. I believe Ron Paul is such a man.

In 40 years of medical practice, Dr. Ron Paul has delivered over 4,000 babies and he says he has "never once considered performing an abortion, nor did I ever find abortion necessary to save the life of a pregnant woman." Ron Paul wrote a book called Challenge to Liberty in which he asserts the idea that there cannot be liberty in a society unless the rights of all innocent persons are protected. Congressman Paul has authored legislation to define life as beginning at conception. He is also a sponsor of a bill which would reverse the effects of Roe v. Wade by removing the ability of federal courts to interfere with state legislation to protect life. This would return the abortion issue to the states where it belongs.

Ron Paul has written: "The notion of a rigid separation between church and state has no basis in either the text of the Constitution or the writings of our Founding Fathers. On the contrary, our Founders' political views were strongly informed by their religious beliefs. Certainly the drafters of the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution... would be aghast at the federal government's hostility to religion. The establishment clause of the First Amendment was simply intended to forbid the creation of an official state church... not to drive religion out of public life. The Founding Fathers envisioned a robustly Christian yet religiously tolerant America, with churches serving as vital institutions that would eclipse the state in importance."

Congressman Paul has sponsored a proposed Constitutional amendment which would allow public school students to pray privately, but would not allow anyone to be forced to pray against their will.

Ron Paul believes marriage is a union between one man and one woman and he opposes efforts to redefine marriage. He supported the Defense of Marriage Act which allows states to refuse to recognize same-sex "marriages" performed in other states. He co-sponsored the Marriage Protection Act which would have barred judges from hearing cases pertaining to the constitutionality of the Defense of Marriage Act. He has said that changing the definition of marriage to allow same-sex unions is "an act of social engineering profoundly hostile to liberty."

Ron Paul supports the rights of home schoolers and he does not think the federal government should have any control over education. He has worked tirelessly to return control of education to parents.

Ron Paul believes in the Christian tradition of just war. He knows that the interventionist foreign policy of the U.S. has made our country less safe. The U.S. has been bombing and interfering with the affairs of other nations for decades, not because this is in our best interest, but for the purpose of building a global empire. Ron Paul believes "No war should ever be fought without a declaration of war voted on by Congress, as required by the Constitution." He also states that "Under no circumstance should the U.S. go to war as the result of a resolution that comes from an unelected foreign body, such as the United Nations." Ron Paul wants to bring our troops home!

Please pray for Ron Paul and tell your neighbors about his campaign for freedom, peace, and prosperity.

I am a Pro-Life activist living in Wisconsin and doing ministry in Duluth MN. I support Ron Paul because he is truly Pro-Life, in my opinion he is the Pro-lifers "dream candidate" as he has delivered over 4,000 babies. I also am a big fan of Pastor Chuck Baldwin who has endorsed Ron Paul, www.chuckbaldwinlive.com I pray for Ron Paul daily and hope others will do the same.

• I believe that God Himself designed the perfect system of government, which He
displayed for the world through the Israelites. He corrected His chosen when they
strayed too far from His perfect "freedom model," and blessed them greatly when they
aligned with it, so that all might benefit by their recorded experience.

• I believe that Jesus, at Calvary, purchased the only meaningful and enduring
liberty, desired by all, for us.

• I believe that Jesus Christ was and is God, made flesh and come into the world to
rescue mankind.

• I believe that the closest man has ever come to devising a government based on
absolute truth occurred when acknowledging the words, "... all men are created
equal, ...they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights.."

• I believe that the primary role of just government is to guard and protect the
rights and liberties of the individual: including the right to disagree with
policies that undermine this role.

• I believe, with the Founders, that the nature of government is antithetical to
individual rights and liberties and must therefore be scrutinized and restricted in
its growth at all times.

• I believe that even the most catastrophic of tragedies cannot alter absolute truth.

• I believe that a government allowed to grow too large will eventually destroy both
itself and the people it was designed to serve. Accordingly, I believe in the
principles of a free market, and government, which is fiscally sound, and
constitutionally restricted in size, scope, and duty.

• I believe that economic "boom and bust" cycles are a direct result of man's attempt
to fake reality and follow his own will, and that the lessons of such misplaced
loyalty have remained the same, throughout the ages.

I used to refer to myself as a "Christian-conservative" but, since the modern day
"conservative movement" has abandoned the principles stated above, I am no longer a
"hyphenated" Christian.
~~~~~
There is a man, a lone "voice in the wilderness," who has consistently upheld these
principles, and who has been a courageous defender of the ideas that made this
country great. His warnings have fallen on deaf ears for more than thirty years.
Today he is maligned and ridiculed by the very people who claim the title
"conservative." His belief in a righteous, just, and merciful God gives him the
strength and the courage to continue to speak..
His name is Ronald Ernest Paul, and I pray that the Good LORD protect him and
strengthen him as he bravely and tirelessly communicates these higher ideals to an
unrepentant nation.
Just recently I switched from the Constitution Party to the Republican Party so I could vote for Ron Paul in the primary. I am thoroughly impressed with the integrity, domestic and foreign issue voting record of Dr. Paul. With America in this present mess, if any presidential candidate will be able to get America back to the constitutional moorings of our founding fathers, Ron Paul is that man. With the exploding grassroots movement, the lopsided Internet poll victories and straw vote results, Ron Paul may well turn out to be the Republican nominee in 2008. I urge all who still cherish our freedoms to do everything in their power to put this man in the White House!
Ron Paul is the only candidate that has a strong solution to big spending and cutting taxes. I have been studying the various kings of the old testament and how God dealt with various kings and groups of people. There is a lot of discussion in the Bible about taxation and Ron Paul fits the bill of a good leader, Biblically speaking. He is also a freedom fighter and someone who supports the Christian-based Constitution that originally brought this great country its prosperity without taxation. As a conservative Christian I support Ron Paul because he is the first leader to run in a long time that truly endorses Christian principles by the position he takes and by the actions he has been taking during his 20 years in office. He speaks The Truth.
